I’ll teach you how to use Inkscape to properly use the mirror symmetry path effect. In this tutorial learn about automatically duplicating the opposite side of your drawing. We will use the objects panel and the path effect editor. Also note that you must draw within the GROUP in the object panel. The setup can seem tedious, but once it is in place it becomes easier.
To demonstrate this technique I will use my mascot tiger logo sketch. This type of design is commonly used in school team logos, sport team logos, or even esport team logos.
