CRICUT MAKER BASSWOOD SIGN |12TH DAY OF CRAFTMAS

In today’s video I’m making a Christmas sign out of basswood. To make this you will need a Cricut maker and the knife blade. I hope you’ve enjoyed the 12 days of craftmas series on my channel!
I forgot to mention at the beginning of this video why I start in Inkscape. I wanted to use the font Samantha Upright for my sign but the font was a little too thin for basswood so I went into Inkscape to thicken the font. You can choose any font you want and you don’t have to go into Inkscape, I would just choose a thick font. You want your cut lines to be at least the width of a pencil when using basswood to prevent it from splitting.
